that build up local communities
In 2020, following an earthquake that occurred on Mindanao, the island south of Bohol, we were contacted by friends who needed help repairing their churches. Although our focus up to that point had mostly been on developing the camp, our mission has always been to help those in need in any way that we can. With that goal in mind, we directed our attention to helping our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ with rebuilding after the earthquake. We reached out to IDES, International Disaster Emergency Service, to partner with us in this project. As a result of this, the Lord planted a desire in the heart of Steve and Kim to expand Heir's ministry to building and repairing churches - not only in the Philippines, but all over the world. In total, Heir has helped build or repair 17 churches. We have also worked more with IDES to send disaster relief following the devastation of Tpyhoon Odette in December of 2021.
